Paul Mccartney Goodbye

This post is in honour of the news recently that the Paul Mccartney and Heather Mills divorce case has now gone through. She walked away with 23 million pounds which isnt bad for a four year marriage. It has also been revealed that Paul's fortune is half of what was originally estimated, however he still has almost 400 million tucked away. This is what was revealed in the offical report: "He held £15,159,000 in bank accounts in the UK and USA. His investments were valued at £34,319,000. He was owed a total of £3,687,000. He held £6000 in cash. Paintings which he had painted, works of art, musical instruments, jewellery, furniture, house contents, motor vehicles and horses were valued professionally at £32,269,000. His pension assets were valued at £36,288,000. Accordingly he disclosed total net assets of £387,012,000. He disclosed his total net income for the next 12 months at £5,357,000." So even though the original estimations of his wealth were false, his wealth is still fantastic considering that he has earned this from playing the guitar for a living (this is looking at on its most basic level of course!). Anyway i believe that Heather hasnt done bad really, she has achieved some fantastically bad press from this. I havent got a major problem with her. The press paint her out more evil than she really is i reckon. Anyway the song is called goodbye and was written in 1968 for the newly signed apple artist Mary Hopkin (although it may have been a beatles cast off from this late era). It is a typically twee Mccartney ballad however i believe it holds a nice bit of charm and the guitar playing is quite good.
